Hilary Knight (ice Hockey)
Hilary Atwood Knight (born July 12, 1989) is an American ice hockey forward with the PWHPA and the United States women's national ice hockey team. She previously played for the Les Canadiennes de Montreal of the CWHL and the Boston Pride of the NWHL, with whom she won the inaugural Isobel Cup. Knight competed for the Wisconsin Badgers women's ice hockey program, as well as for Choate Rosemary Hall. In her first year at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Knight helped the team place second in the NCAA championships. The following year she led her team in points as the Badgers went on to win the National Championship. With the US national team, she won eight gold medals at the IIHF World Women's Championships and the gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Emma Söderberg
Emma Martine Söderberg (born 18 February 1998) is a Swedish ice hockey goaltender for Minnesota Duluth of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and member of Sweden women's national ice hockey team. Early life Söderberg was born on 18 February 1998 in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, to Ove and Karin Söderberg. As an adolescent, she was a goaltender for Modo Hockey Dam of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL), where she had a 1.55 goals against average (GAA) and .940 save percentage in 19 games. College career Söderberg joined the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs women's ice hockey team for the 2018–19 season. Petra Nieminen
Petra Nieminen (born 4 May 1999) is a Finnish ice hockey player and alternate captain of the Finnish national team, currently playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Luleå HF/MSSK. She is considered one of the top young talents in Finnish ice hockey. Playing career Nieminen's minor ice hockey career was played with the junior teams of Tappara in her hometown of Tampere. She played on boys' teams during her childhood and into her teen years, playing on the same youth team as future NHLer Patrik Laine. Minttu Tuominen
Minnamari "Minttu" Tuominen (born 26 June 1990) is a Finnish ice hockey player, currently signed with the Metropolitan Riveters of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) for the 2022–23 season. A member of the Finnish national ice hockey team since 2008, she has earned medals at three Winter Olympic Games and five IIHF World Women's Championships. Playing career Finland Tuominen played for the Espoo Blues and attended Makelanrinne Sports High School in Helsinki. Tanja Niskanen (born 11 September 1992) is a Finnish ice hockey player and former member of the Finnish national team, currently playing in the Naisten Liiga with KalPa Naiset. Following her second Olympic bronze medal win in February 2022, she announced her retirement from the national team and, in March 2022, confirmed her intention to step away from elite-level club competition following the 2022 Aurora Borealis Cup playoffs. Annina Rajahuhta (born 8 March 1989) is a Finnish retired ice hockey forward, currently serving as co-head coach of the Kiekko-Espoo girl's under-16 and under-18 teams. Noora Tulus (born 15 August 1995) is a Finnish ice hockey player and member of the Finnish national team, currently playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Luleå HF/MSSK. Playing career She left Finland to join Luleå HF/MSSK just before their playoff run in the 2015-16 Riksserien season. After scoring eight points in the five remaining regular season games, she added another six points in seven playoff games as Luleå won their first Riksserien championship. Sanni Hakala
Sanni Hakala (born 31 October 1997) is a Finnish retired ice hockey player and former member of the Finnish national team. She played more than seven seasons with HV71 in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) after beginning her career in the Finnish Naisten SM-sarja (NSMs; renamed Naisten Liiga (NSML) in 2017) with JYP Jyväskylä and Oulun Kärpät. Jenni Hiirikoski
Jenni Hiirikoski (born 30 March 1987) is a Finnish ice hockey player and captain of Luleå HF/MSSK in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (; SDHL) and the Finnish national team. She is widely considered one of the best active ice hockey defencemen in the world, having won the IIHF Directorate Best Defenceman award seven times during the 2010s. Erika Grahm
Erika Maria Grahm (born 26 January 1991) is a Swedish retired ice hockey forward and current general manager of Brynäs IF Dam in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). During her playing career, she was a two-time Olympian with the Swedish national ice hockey team. She is the fourth highest scorer in the history of the SDHL and all-time leading scorer for Modo Hockey, who she captained from 2010 until her departure in 2018. Lina Ljungblom (born 15 October 2001) is a Swedish ice hockey player and member of the Swedish national ice hockey team, currently playing with MoDo Hockey Dam of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). Playing career From 2015 to 2019, Ljungblom played for Skövde IK, splitting her time between the club's boys' U16 and U18 sides, as well as the club's Damtvåan women's side. Maja Nylén Persson
Maja Nylén Persson (born 20 November 2000) is a Swedish ice hockey player for Brynäs IF in the SDHL and the Swedish national team. Career Nylén Persson grew up cheering for Leksands IF, and would make her SDHL debut for the club at the age of 13. She would play five seasons for the club, scoring over 60 points. In March 2019, she became won the EliteProspects Award for the SDHL's youth player of the year, the first time the trophy had been awarded. She would win the award again the next season.
