2017–18 Rutgers Scarlet Knights Women's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Rutgers Scarlet Knights women's basketball team represents Rutgers University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Scarlet Knights, led by 23rd year head coach C. Vivian Stringer, play their home games at the Louis Brown Athletic Center, better known as ''The RAC'', as a member of the Big Ten Conference. Despite improving on the dismal 2016–17 Rutgers Scarlet Knights women's basketball team, 2016–17 season and finishing with a 20–12 record, the Scarlet Knights weren't selected to participate in the 2018 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, 2018 NCAA tournament. They were then offered an at-large berth in the 2018 Women's National Invitation Tournament, WNIT, but Coach Stringer declined, stating the team needed to "focus on the future" in order to "control our destiny" next season. Nadine Domond
Nadine Domond (born September 28, 1975) is an American professional basketball coach and former player and All-American formerly ranked as the number one point guard in the country coming out of high school. Domond played for the Sacramento Monarchs of the Women's National Basketball Association. She coached Grambling State women's basketball team in 2014. Biography Nadine Domond is a basketball player and entrepreneur, who was born in 1975 in Stamford, Connecticut. Her two parents, Evelyne and Delouis Domond, emigrated here to America from Haiti. Domond was already playing basketball at an elite level since high school when she led her team to the state title. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets women's basketball team represents the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in NCAA Division I basketball. The team plays its home games at McCamish Pavilion.
