2017–18 Northern Colorado Bears Men's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Northern Colorado Bears men's basketball team represented the University of Northern Colorado during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bears were led by second-year head coach Jeff Linder and played their home games at Bank of Colorado Arena in Greeley, Colorado as members of the Big Sky Conference. They finished the season 26–12, 11–7 in Big Sky play to finish in fifth place. They defeated Northern Arizona and Weber State to advance to the semifinals of the Big Sky tournament to Montana. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament where they defeated Drake, San Diego, Sam Houston State and UIC to become CIT champions. Previous season The Bears finished the 2016–17 season 11–18, 7–11 in Big Sky play to finish in a tie for eighth place. Jeff Linder
Jeffrey Michael Linder (born June 21, 1977) is an American college basketball coach and current men's basketball head coach at Wyoming. Linder was previously an assistant coach at Emporia State, Midland, Weber State, San Francisco, and Boise State from 2001 to 2016. From 2016 to 2020, Linder was head coach at Northern Colorado. In the midst of an NCAA investigation and sanctions over rules violations from the previous head coach, Linder led Northern Colorado to three straight winning seasons and the 2018 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament title. In 2019, the Big Sky Conference named Linder the Coach of the Year in men's basketball. Linder became head coach at Wyoming in 2020. Laramie High School (Wyoming)
Laramie High School (LHS) is a high school (grades 9–12) in Laramie, Albany County, Wyoming, United States. In the Albany County School District, high school begins in the 9th grade (freshman year); 9th grade students are now able to attend high school in Laramie due to the building of a new high school. Rangeview High School
Rangeview High School is a public high school in Aurora, Colorado, United States. It is the second newest of five high schools in Aurora Public Schools.
