2017–18 Millwall F.C. Season
The 2017–18 season is Millwall's 133rd year in existence, 92nd consecutive season in The Football League and 41st in the second tier. Millwall return to The Championship after a two-year absence. They secured promotion from League One via the playoffs. The Lions went on a club record 17-game unbeaten run; their longest streak in the second tier, which surpassed a record of 15 set in 1971. This season Millwall won six away wins in a row, equalling a club record set in the 2008–09 season. The Lions finished in eighth position, their highest league finish since the 2001–02 season. Millwall competed in the FA Cup, losing to Rochdale in a fourth round replay. They also took part in the League Cup, going out to Reading in the second round. John Berylson
John G. Berylson is an American businessman and founder of Chestnut Hill Ventures LLC. He is also the chairman of London football team Millwall. Education Berylson attended Harvard Business School earning an M.B.A, Brown University earning an A.B. degree, and New York University, where he earned an M.S. Career He is the director of Youngworld Stores Group, Inc and Non Executive Chairman, Member of Audit Committee and Member of Remuneration Committee of Millwall Holdings PLC. Berylson has pumped an estimated £100m into the club. He is also the director of Manifold Capital Corp. Berylson has been reported as being a Republican, having donated to John McCain in the 2008 Presidential Election, however Berylson has denied this and said that he is a registered Democrat - "For the record, I am not a Republican Party supporter – I'm a registered Democrat". EFL Championship
The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship purposes) is the highest division of the English Football League (EFL) and second-highest overall in the English football league system, after the Premier League. The league is contested by 24 clubs. Dartford
Dartford is the principal town in the Borough of Dartford, Kent, England. It is located south-east of Central London and is situated adjacent to the London Borough of Bexley to its west. To its north, across the Thames estuary, is Thurrock in Essex, which can be reached via the Dartford Crossing. The town centre lies in a valley through which the River Darent flows and where the old road from London to Dover crossed: hence the name, from ''Darent + ford''. Princes Park is a Association Football, football stadium in Dartford, Kent, England. It is the home of Dartford F.C. and London City Lionesses. Thamesmead Town F.C., Thamesmead Town were also sharing the ground with Dartford since 2017 until going out of business in October 2018. Romaric Logan
Saint Romaric (died 653) was a Frankish nobleman who lived in Austrasia from the late 6th century until the middle of the 7th century. He and Amatus of Grenoble founded Remiremont Abbey. Biography He was a former Count Palatine in the court of the Merovingian king, Theodebert II. His parents were killed by Queen Brunhilda, and because of the enmity of his family with this queen, he wandered without a home. However, with the fall of the Queen, he was received at the court of Chlothar II and his lands restored. Disenchanted with life as a courtier, Romaric experienced a religious conversion through the missionary efforts of Amatus of Grenoble, a monk of Luxeuil Abbey. Romaric entered Luxeuil and trained to be a monk. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA).
