2017β18 Lincoln City F.C. Season
The 2017β18 season was Lincoln City's 134th season in their history and their first season back in League Two following promotion from the 2016β17 National League. Along with League Two, the club also participated in the FA Cup, EFL Cup and EFL Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018. The EFL Cup (referred to historically, and colloquially, as the League Cup), currently known as the Carabao Cup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual knockout competition and major trophy in men's domestic football in England. Joshua Anthony Vickers (born 1 December 1995) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Derby County. Vickers was on the books of Arsenal and Swansea City without playing first-team football for either, and made his Football League debut while on loan at Barnet.
