The 2017–18 Kansas State Wildcats men's basketball team represented Kansas State University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Bruce Weber (basketball)
Bruce Brett Weber (born October 19, 1956) is the former men's basketball head coach at Kansas State University. Prior to his tenure at Kansas State, Weber was the head coach at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Southern Illinois University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois. Weber won conference championships and conference coach of the year awards at each of the three schools where he served as head coach. He guided his teams to a combined total of 13 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship, NCAA tournaments in 24 seasons, including an appearance with Illinois in the championship game of the 2005 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, 2005 NCAA tournament. Wesley Iwundu
Wesley Deshawn Iwundu (born December 20, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Kansas State Wildcats. College career Iwundu was recruited by coach Bruce Weber to Kansas State out of Westfield High School in Houston. He would go on to be a starter from the beginning, breaking the Wildcats' career record for games started with 124. He came in as a part of a heralded 5-man 2013 recruiting class, but ultimately was the only player who stayed at K-State past two seasons. His perseverance paid off, as he was named third-team All-Big 12 Conference in both his junior and senior seasons. 16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA. The 2016–17 West Virginia Mountaineers men's basketball team represented West Virginia University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. 2017 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2017 Phillips 66 Big 12 men's basketball tournament was a postseason men's basketball tournament for the Big 12 Conference. It was played from March 8 to 11, in Kansas City, Missouri at the Sprint Center. Iowa State received the conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA tournament with an 80–74 win over West Virginia in the finals. Seeding The Tournament consisted of a 10 team single-elimination tournament with the top 6 seeds receiving a bye. Teams have been seeded by record within the conference, with a tiebreaker system used to seed teams with identical conference records.
