2017–18 Iowa Hawkeyes Women's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team represented the University of Iowa during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Hawkeyes, led by 18th year head coach Lisa Bluder, played their home games at Carver–Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa, Iowa City, IA as members of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 24–8, 11–5 in Big Ten play to finish in a three-way tie for third place. Lisa Bluder
Lisa Marie Bluder (, born April 16, 1961) is the head coach of the University of Iowa, Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball program. Formerly, she served as coach of St. Ambrose University and the Drake Bulldogs women's basketball, Drake Bulldogs. Early life Bluder attended Linn-Mar High School and graduated in 1979. She went on to study and graduate from the University of Northern Iowa in 1983. Coaching career St. Ambrose University She began her coaching career at St. Ambrose University, where she coached six successful seasons building the Bees into an NAIA powerhouse. During her tenure at St. Ambrose, she recorded a 169–36 (.824) mark and guided the Bees to four straight national tournaments, including two consecutive Final Four appearances. Davenport North High School
Davenport North High School is a public high school built in the northern area of Davenport, Iowa. North High School was established in 1985 in the building that was formerly Wood Junior High. In the fall of 1994, ninth graders were added to the school as part of a district-wide reconfiguration of elementary, intermediate, and high schools. Grand Blanc is a city in Genesee County in the U.S. state of Michigan and a suburb of Flint. The population was 7,784 as of the 2020 US Census. History The unincorporated village of Grand Blanc, or Grumlaw, was a former Indian campground first settled by Jacob Stevens in spring 1822.
