The 2017–18 Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Phoenix, led by head coach Kevin Borseth, in the sixth year of his current stint and 15th year overall at Green Bay, played their home games at the Kress Events Center and were members of the Horizon League. It was the 39th season of Green Bay women's basketball. Kevin Borseth
Kevin Paul Borseth (born June 9, 1954) is the current head women's basketball coach at The University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. Career A native of Bessemer, Michigan, he has compiled a 477–186 record in 22 years as a head basketball coach. He has compiled twenty consecutive winning campaigns, and fifteen 20-win seasons. His teams have either won or shared thirteen conference titles, and won their conference tournament eight times. In sixteen of his twenty-one seasons, his teams have gone to the postseason—including thirteen NCAA appearances with only three WNIT appearances. Kohler is a village in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States, along the Sheboygan River. The population was 2,120 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. Cancún Challenge
The Cancun Challenge ( es, Desafío Cancún) is a college basketball tournament organized by Triple Crown Sports which currently features eight NCAA Division I men's basketball teams and ten women's basketball teams. The formats of the men's and women's tournaments have varied from year to year. The men's tournament currently splits the eight teams into two divisions of four and consists of games played in the United States at participants' campus sites followed by a bracketed tournament played in (or near) Cancún, Mexico. The women's tournament splits the ten teams into one division of six and one division of four and each features round-robin play in Cancún with no bracket, and therefore no champion. The 2017–18 South Dakota State Jackrabbits women's basketball represent South Dakota State University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. Kohl Center
The Kohl Center is an arena and athletic center at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, United States. The building, which opened in 1998, is the home of the university's men's basketball and ice hockey teams, and the women's basketball team. The 2017–18 Chattanooga Mocs women's basketball team represented the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Mocs, led by fifth-year head coach Jim Foster, played their home games at the McKenzie Arena as members of the Southern Conference (SoCon).
