The 2017–18 Eintracht Frankfurt season was the 119th season in the football club's history and the 6th consecutive and 49th overall season in the top flight of German football, the Bundesliga, having been promoted from the 2. Bundesliga in 2012. In addition to the domestic league, Eintracht Frankfurt also were participating in this season's edition of the domestic cup, the DFB-Pokal. Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. () is a professional sports club based in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. It is best known for its football club, which was founded on 8 March 1899. Danny Blum (born 7 January 1991) is a German professional footballer who plays as a winger for club 1. FC Nürnberg. He plays mainly as a winger but also can play as a forward. Jonathan Alexander de Guzmán (born 13 September 1987) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Sparta Rotterdam. Born in Canada, he represented the Netherlands internationally. Club career FC Sion Fernandes started his football career at FC Sion when he first joined the club at age seven years old. Ante Rebić (; born 21 September 1993) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a winger for club AC Milan and the Croatia national team. Simon Augustin Falette (born 19 February 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Turkish club Hatayspor. Born in France, he represents the Guinea national team.
