2017–18 Denmark Series
The 2017–18 Denmark Series was the 53rd season of the Denmark Series, the fourth-tier of the Danish football league structure organised by the Danish FA (DBU). The league was divided in four groups of ten teams each, with the group winners reaching promotion to the 2018–19 Danish 2nd Divisions, while the last place teams suffered automatic relegation to the lower divisions. The eight and ninth placed teams of each group risked playing relegation-playoffs, depending on Danish 2nd Division results. The season was launched in on 5 August 2017 and the final rounds of regular league fixtures were held on 16 June 2018 with the play-off relegation matches being held on 20 June 2018. Slagelse B&I
Slagelse Boldklub & Idrætsforening, commonly known as Slagelse B&I, is an association football club based in Slagelse, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1887, making it the fifth oldest club in the country, it is affiliated to DBU Zealand. The team plays its home matches at Slagelse Stadium, which has a capacity of 10,000. Between 2008 and 2015, the club's first team went under the name of FC Vestsjælland. History The original club, Slagelse Boldklub, was formed on 23 May 1887, originally featuring cricket and later also association football. 2018–19 Danish 2nd Divisions
The 2018–19 Danish 2nd Divisions was divided in two groups of twelve teams in the autumn of 2018. In the spring of 2019 there was a promotion play-off and a relegation play-off. The top two teams of the promotion play-off group were promoted to the 2019–20 Danish 1st Division. Herlev
Herlev is a suburb about 9 km northwest of Copenhagen city centre. It is the site of the municipal council of Herlev Municipality, Denmark. Sports Herlev is the hometown of former Vancouver Canuck Jannik Hansen. Herlev is known for its hockey team, the Herlev Hornets. Attractions Herlev Hospital is in height. It is famous for being Denmark's tallest building and the fifth tallest hospital in the world. Fredensborg
Fredensborg () is a railway town located in Fredensborg Municipality, North Zealand, some 30 kilometres north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is most known for Fredensborg Palace, one of the official residences of the Danish Royal Family. As of 1 January 2022, the town had a population of 8,965. Frederiksberg Idrætspark
Frederiksberg Idrætspark, also known as Frederiksberg Stadion, is a multi-purpose stadium in Frederiksberg, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark. It is home to FA 2000, who currently compete in the Danish 2nd Division. It is also home to Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (KB), a parent club to FC Copenhagen, and the latter also use the stadium as a training ground. Frederiksberg
Frederiksberg () is a part of the Capital Region of Denmark. It is formally an independent municipality, Frederiksberg Municipality, separate from Copenhagen Municipality, but both are a part of the City of Copenhagen. Kastrup Boldklub
Kastrup Boldklub (Kastrup BK or KB for short) is a Danish association football club based in the suburb of Kastrup ( Tårnby Municipality) on Amager. As of the 2017/18-season, the club's first senior men's team play in Denmark Series ( level 4). The club was founded on 4 May 1933 as Boldklubben Funkis and changed to the current name in 1941. The senior men's football team have since 1985 primarily played their home games at Kastrup Idrætsanlæg located at Røllikevej, Kastrup next to the club house, but have previously played their matches at Tårnby Stadium during their tenure in the higher ranking leagues, and occasionally still do.
