2017 Women's Four Nations Cup
The 2018 Women's Four Nations Cup was the seventh Hockey Four Nations Cup, an international women's field hockey tournament, consisting of a series of test matches. It was held in Germany, from June 15 to 18, 2017, and featured four of the top nations in women's field hockey. Competition format The tournament featured the national teams of China, Ireland, South Korea, and the hosts, Germany, competing in a round-robin format, with each team playing each other once. Three points were awarded for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss. 2002 Women's Hockey World Cup
The 2002 Women's Hockey World Cup was the 10th edition of the Women's Hockey World Cup field hockey tournament. It was held from 24 November to 8 December 2002 in Perth, Western Australia. Argentina won the tournament for the first time after defeating the Netherlands 4–3 in the final on penalty strokes after a 1–1 draw. China won the third place match by defeating defending champions Australia 2–0 to claim their first ever World Cup medal. For this tournament, the participating nations were increased from the standard 12 (as in the 6 previous editions) to 16. Liang Meiyu (born 8 January 1994) is a Chinese field hockey player. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she competed with the China women's national field hockey team in the women's tournament. Anna O'Flanagan
Anna O'Flanagan (born 18 February 1990) is an Ireland women's field hockey international. She was a member of the Ireland team that played in the 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup final. O'Flanagan has also won Irish Senior Cup and Women's Irish Hockey League titles with UCD. Early years and education O'Flanagan is originally from Rathgar and attended Rathgar Junior School. Between 2002 and 2008 she also attended Muckross Park College. Between 2008 and 2013 she attended University College Dublin and graduated with a Bachelor of Law with Economics.
