The 2017 South Florida Bulls football team represented the University of South Florida (USF) in the 2017 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They played their home games at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, and were led by first-year head coach Charlie Strong. The Bulls competed as members of the East Division of the American Athletic Conference. They finished the season 10–2, 6–2 in AAC play to finish in second place in the East Division. They were invited to the Birmingham Bowl where they defeated Texas Tech. Previous season In 2016, the Bulls had their most successful season in school history, finishing 11–2, 7–1 in American Athletic Conference play. The Oregon Ducks football program is a college football team for the University of Oregon, located in the U.S. state of Oregon. 2017 East Carolina Pirates Football Team
The 2017 East Carolina Pirates football team represented East Carolina University in the 2017 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by second-year head coach Scottie Montgomery and played their home games at Dowdy–Ficklen Stadium. The Pirates competed as members of the East Division of the American Athletic Conference. They finished the season 3–9, 2–6 in AAC play to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place in the East Division. Schedule ECU announced their 2017 football schedule on February 9, 2017. They will host seven home games for the first time in school history.
