Jenny Boucek
Jennifer Dawn Boucek (born December 20, 1973) is an assistant basketball coach for the Indiana Pacers, a former basketball player, and former head coach of the Seattle Storm. She was hired by the Storm on January 20, 2015, but terminated on August 10, 2017 as the team failed to meet the expectations that came along with the acquisition of consecutive top draft picks Jewell Loyd and Breanna Stewart. Boucek was previously the head coach for the Sacramento Monarchs from November 15, 2006 until July 12, 2009. 2017 Washington Mystics Season
The 2017 WNBA season for the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association is scheduled to begin May 13, 2017. The Mystics got off to a strong start, posting a 10–5 record in May and June. After a 4–4 July, the Mystics struggled to finish out the season. A 4–6 finish saw them place third in the Eastern Conference, and earn the 6th overall seed in the playoffs. Strong performances from star players allowed the Mystics to win in the First Round over the 2017 Dallas Wings season, Dallas Wings and in the Second Round over the 2017 New York Liberty season, New York Liberty. 2017 Indiana Fever Season
The 2017 WNBA season is the 18th season for the Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association. The Fever began play on May 14, 2017. The Fever started the season strong posting a 7–7 record in May and June. However the second half of the season was not as positive. The team finished 2–18 in the months of July August and September. This brought their final record to 9–25, which was 6th place in the Eastern Conference, and next to last in the league. Noelle Quinn (born January 3, 1985) is a basketball coach and former player who is currently the head coach for the Seattle Storm of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). As a player, Quinn played for many WNBA teams and for Botaş SK of the Turkish Women's Basketball League. High school Born in Los Angeles, California, Quinn played for Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, California, where she was named a WBCA All-American. Crystal Allison Langhorne (born October 27, 1986) is an American former basketball player of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She played for the University of Maryland Terrapins. The 2017 WNBA season is the 21st season for the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association. The Sparks are the defending WNBA champions. The season tipped off on May 13. Jenna O'Hea (born 6 June 1987) is an Australian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Southside Flyers in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL).
