Sandy Brondello
Sandra Anne "Sandy" Brondello (born 20 August 1968) is an Australian women's basketball coach, and the current head coach of the New York Liberty of the WNBA. Brondello played in Australia, Germany and the WNBA before retiring to become a coach. The 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m) Brondello is one of Australia's all-time best shooting guards. She played on Australia's "Opals" national team at four Summer Olympics, and won three medals (one bronze, two silvers). She attended the Australian Institute of Sport in 1986–1987, and was inducted to the Australian Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010. Danielle Robinson (born May 10, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). 2017 Washington Mystics Season
The 2017 WNBA season for the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association is scheduled to begin May 13, 2017. The Mystics got off to a strong start, posting a 10–5 record in May and June. After a 4–4 July, the Mystics struggled to finish out the season. A 4–6 finish saw them place third in the Eastern Conference, and earn the 6th overall seed in the playoffs. Camille Little (born January 18, 1985) is a former American professional basketball player for the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She began her WNBA career with the San Antonio Silver Stars in 2007. She played college basketball at North Carolina. 2017 Minnesota Lynx Season
The 2017 WNBA season of the Minnesota Lynx is their 19th season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The Lynx finished the 2016 season with a record of 28–6, finishing first in the Western Conference (and the league as a whole) and qualifying for the playoffs, before ultimately beating Los Angeles in the WNBA Finals to win their league-tying best fourth championship. The Lynx moved from their normal home, Target Center in Minneapolis, to the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul for the 2017 season due to the renovation that would be taking place at Target Center. 2017 Chicago Sky Season
The 2017 Chicago Sky season was the franchise's 12th season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The Sky started the season slowly, posting a 1–5 record in May. This slow start continued into June where the team only won 2 of 9 games. The team showed improvement in July and August, posting a combined record of 9–8 in those months. An 0–2 September saw the Sky finish with an overall record of 12–22. The Sky finished in 4th place in the Eastern Conference, ahead of the Atlanta Dream via tiebreaker. The 2017 WNBA season is the 21st season for the New York Liberty franchise of the WNBA. The season tips off on May 13. The Liberty rode an end of season surge to the top of the Eastern Conference and the third overall see in the WNBA playoffs.
