The 2017 Pac–12 Conference football season is the seventh for the twelve-team league. The season began on August 26, 2017, and ended with the Pac-12 Championship Game on December 1, 2017 at Levi's Stadium. The NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), formerly known as Division I-A, is the highest level of college football in the United States. 2017 Washington State Cougars Football Team
The 2017 Washington State Cougars football team represented Washington State University during the 2017 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by sixth-year head coach Mike Leach and played their home games at Martin Stadium in Pullman, Washington. They competed as members of the North Division of the Pac-12 Conference. The 2016 Foster Farms Bowl was an American college football bowl game played on December 28, 2016 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. It was one of the 2016–17 bowl games concluding the 2016 FBS football season. The 15th edition of the Foster Farms Bowl, the game featured the Utah Utes from the Pac-12 Conference against the Indiana Hoosiers from the Big Ten Conference. The 2016 Indiana Hoosiers football team represented Indiana University Bloomington during the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Hoosiers competed in the East Division of the Big Ten Conference and played their home games at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana. Levi's Stadium is an American football stadium located in Santa Clara, California, just outside San Jose in the San Francisco Bay Area. It has served as the home venue for the National Football League (NFL)'s San Francisco 49ers since 2014. The stadium is located approximately south of San Francisco. The Pac-12 Football Championship Game is an annual college football game held by the Pac-12 Conference to determine the season's conference champion. The game from the 2011–2021 seasons had the champion of the North Division against the champion of the South Division. The inaugural game was held during the 2011 season.
