The 2017 Mesterfinalen was the first edition of Mesterfinalen and the 3rd Norwegian super cup overall. Mesterfinalen is an annual game between the League champions and the Cup champions, or the League number two if, as with the 2017 final, the same team are reigning League and Cup champions. SK Brann
Sportsklubben Brann (commonly known as Brann, and less often as SK Brann) is a Norwegian professional football club, founded 26 September 1908, from Bergen. Brann had been in the Eliteserien, Norway's Premier Division of Football, since 1987, bar one season spent in the 1. divisjon in 2015, but they were relegated again in 2021. Azar Karadas ( tr, Azar Karadaş; born 9 August 1981) is a Norwegian former footballer. Although he could also play as a central defender, he operated primarily as a centre forward. Daniel Omoya Braaten (born 25 May 1982) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a winger. He has previously played for Skeid, Rosenborg, Bolton Wanderers, Toulouse, Brann and Stabæk. He has been capped 52 times for the Norway national team, scoring 4 goals.
