2017 Italian F4 Championship
The 2017 Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth was the fourth season of the Italian F4 Championship. It began on 2 April at Misano and finished on 22 October at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza after seven triple header rounds. The championship title was clinched by and Prema Powerteam driver and Ferrari Driver Academy protegé Marcus Armstrong. Job van Uitert, Lorenzo Colombo, Sebastián Fernández and Artem Petrov were the other drivers who won more than one race, all of them completed the top-five in the driver standings. Leonardo Lorandi won the rookies' championship. Sophia Flörsch was the only woman to compete in the series, but because she did not compete in at least five events, the Woman trophy wasn't given. Italian F4 Championship
Italian Formula 4 Championship is the first formula racing series regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The inaugural season was the 2014 Italian F4 Championship, effectively replacing the Formula Abarth. History Gerhard Berger and the FIA Singleseater Commission launched the FIA Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of the Formula 4 is to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs are regulated too. A car to compete in this category may not exceed €30,000 in purchase. A single season in Formula 4 may not exceed €100,000 in costs. The Italian Formula 4 was the first FIA Formula 4 championship to be launched. The Italian championship was launched by the ACI-CSAI on December 12, 2013. WSK Promotions, well known for its kart races in the WSK Euro Series e.a., was contracted to promote the championship. Oliver "Olli" Caldwell (born 11 June 2002) is a British racing driver who is competing for Alpine in the FIA World Endurance Championship. He is a race winner in the FIA Formula 3, Formula Regional European, Italian F4 and ADAC Formula 4 championships and was a member of the Alpine Academy. Career Karting Caldwell was born in Hampshire, and began karting in 2013 at the age of eleven. ADM Motorsport are an Italian motorsports team, currently competing in the International Formula Master series, though they have also competed in Euro Formula 3000 and Formula Three. History Birth and Formula Panda The team was founded in 1988 by Renato Melchioretto when he manufactured his first racing car, the ADM Formula Panda. Federico Malvestiti
Federico Malvestiti (born 12 June 2000) is an Italian racing driver who most recently competed in the FIA F3 Championship for Jenzer Motorsport. He is a race winner in the Italian F4 Championship. Career Karting Malvestiti was born in Monza, and began karting in 2010 in events such as Easykart International Grand Final and Trofeo Nazionale Easykart. Italian F4 Malvestiti's first outing in single seaters was in Italian F4 in 2015 with Antonelli Motorsport where he competed in two rounds, finishing no higher than 12th. In 2016 Malvestiti competed full time with Antonelli Motorsport where he scored points twice and finished 25th in the standings. Malvestiti's 2nd season in 2017 saw him drive for Jenzer Motorsport. Giorgio Carrara
Giorgio Emiliano Carrara (born 16 February 2001) is an Argentine racing driver who last competed in the 2022 USF Juniors season. He has previously competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship. Career Karting Carrara started karting in 2010 in Argentina at the age of 9 where he won a championship in 2015. Italian Formula 4 In 2017, Carrara moved over to race in Europe for the first time when he made his single-seater debut in the Italian F4 Championship with Jenzer Motorsport. Grégoire Saucy (born 26 December 1999) is a Swiss racing driver and the current champion of the Formula Regional European Championship.
