2017 Indiana Fever Season
The 2017 WNBA season is the 18th season for the Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association. The Fever began play on May 14, 2017. The Fever started the season strong posting a 7–7 record in May and June. However the second half of the season was not as positive. The team finished 2–18 in the months of July August and September. This brought their final record to 9–25, which was 6th place in the Eastern Conference, and next to last in the league. Pokey Chatman
Dana "Pokey" Chatman (born June 18, 1969) is currently an assistant coach for the Seattle Storm in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Chatman is the former head coach of the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky of the WNBA. She is also the former head coach of the LSU Lady Tigers basketball team and the Spartak Moscow women's basketball team. Chatman spent the first 20 years of her adult life at LSU as a player (1987–1991), student assistant (1991–1992), assistant coach (1992–2004) and head coach (2004–2007). After succeeding longtime coach Sue Gunter in 2004, Chatman led the Lady Tigers to three consecutive NCAA Final Fours in 2004 (as acting head coach for the ailing Gunter), 2005, and 2006. The Connecticut Sun are an American professional basketball team based in Uncasville, Connecticut that competes in the Eastern Conference (WNBA), Eastern Conference of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Climate Pledge Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is located north of Downtown Seattle in the entertainment complex known as Seattle Center, the site of the 1962 World's Fair, for which it was originally developed. After opening in 1962, it was subsequently bought and converted by the city of Seattle for entertainment purposes. Steven Key
Steven Key (born May 14, 1968) is an American professional basketball coach and former professional player. Career Key attended Atholton High School in Columbia, Maryland, and was named the 1986 Howard County Player of the Year. He was a four-year letter winner at Boston University (1986–90), garnering America East Conference Player of the Year honors in 1990. He also received the Lou Cohen Award as BU's Most Valuable Player the same year.
