Stade Pierre De Coubertin (Paris)
The Stade Pierre de Coubertin (French for Pierre de Coubertin Stadium) is an indoor arena that is located in Paris, France. It is the home venue of the Paris Saint-Germain Handball team. Currently, the arena has a seating capacity of 4,200 people for basketball games. History Stade Pierre de Coubertin was opened in 1937, for the Universal Exposition, and it was rebuilt after bombing that occurred during the Second World War. The stadium was used as a detention centre during the Paris massacre of 1961. In 1990, the arena underwent a renovation, which included a new façade, expansion of its seating capacity, and the addition of various service areas. Anthony Sinisuka Ginting (; born October 20, 1996) is an Indonesian badminton player. He first rose to prominence when he won the bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games. At the 2020 Olympics, he won bronze in the men's singles event. He became the first Youth Olympic badminton medalist to win a medal at the Olympics, having also won bronze in 2014. Parupalli Kashyap (born 8 September 1986) is an Indian badminton player. A former World No.6, he trains at Gopichand Badminton Academy. He was awarded the Arjuna Award by the Government of India in 2012. He created history by reaching the quarter-finals of men's singles at the 2012 London Olympics, being the first male player from India to do so. Anders Antonsen (born 27 April 1997) is a Danish badminton player. He won the gold medal at the 2015 European Junior Championships in the boys singles event, and at the same year was awarded the European Young Player of the Year. Mark Caljouw (born 25 January 1995) is a Dutch badminton player. He started playing badminton aged eight, at BC Randstad in Rijswijk. Career Caljouw was selected to join the national team in 2008, and made a debut in international senior tournament in 2012. Caljouw competed at the 2013 European Junior Championships in Ankara, Turkey, winning a silver medal in the boys' singles event, and also a bronze medal in the mixed team event. Datuk Lee Chong Wei (; born 21 October 1982) is a Malaysian former badminton player. As a singles player, Lee was ranked first worldwide for 349 weeks, including a 199-week streak from 21 August 2008 to 14 June 2012.
