İzmit
İzmit () is a district and the central district of Kocaeli province, Turkey. It is located at the Gulf of İzmit in the Sea of Marmara, about east of Istanbul, on the northwestern part of Anatolia. As of the last 31/12/2019 estimation, the city center had a population of 367,990. José Carbonell (karateka)
Josep Carbonell Rodès (also given as José, born 27 January 1957) is a retired Spanish sprinter who specialized in the 60 metres. As a junior he won a bronze medal in the 4 x 100 metres relay at the 1975 European Junior Championships. He competed in the 60 metres at the 1976, 1977, 1978, 1980, 1981 (50 metres), and 1982 European Indoor Championships without reaching the final. He became the Spanish 100 metres champion in 1975 and 1981, rivalling with Javier Martínez, Ángel Ibáñez, José Luis Sarriá and José Luis Sánchez. Denis Denisenko (born January 16, 1971) is a Russian astronomer of the late 20th – early 21st century, discoverer of 10 supernovae, more than 150 variable stars, an asteroid, and a comet. Biography Born in 1971 in Moscow, Denisenko graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT or Phystech) in 1993 with a Master of Science in Astrophysics and a Diploma: Spectral Properties of Gamma-Ray Bursts Observed by PHEBUS Instrument of the Granat observatory. In 1991, he joined the High Energy Astrophysics Department of the Russian Space Research Institute (IKI) where he worked until April 2012.
