The 2017 Buffalo Bills season was the franchise's 58th overall season, 48th in the National Football League and third full season under the ownership of Terrence Pegula, Terry and Kim Pegula. The season was the first under the leadership of general manager Brandon Beane and List of Buffalo Bills head coaches, head coach Sean McDermott. Dennis Lee Thurman (born April 13, 1956) is an American football coach and former cornerback. He is the former Defensive coordinator on Deion Sanders' inaugural staff at Jackson State University. He is a former coach in the National Football League for the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets, and in the Alliance of American Football for the Memphis Express. Anthony Ray Lynn (born December 21, 1968) is an American football coach and former running back who is the assistant head coach and running backs coach for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He previously played in the NFL for six seasons, primarily with the Denver Broncos.
