Bob Ellicott
Robert James Ellicott, (15 April 1927 – 31 October 2022) was an Australian barrister, politician and judge. He served as Solicitor-General of Australia (1969–1973) before entering the House of Representatives at the 1974 federal election as a member of the Liberal Party. He held senior ministerial office in the Fraser Government, serving as Attorney-General (1975–1977), Minister for Home Affairs (1977–1980), the Capital Territory (1977–1980), and Home Affairs and the Environment (1980–1981). He retired from politics to be appointed to the Federal Court of Australia, serving as a judge from 1981 to 1983. Early life Ellicott was born on 15 April 1927 in Moree, New South Wales. MaryAnn Bin-Sallik
MaryAnn Bin-Sallik (born 1940) is Djaru Elder and Australian academic, specialising in Indigenous studies and culture. She was the first Indigenous Australian to gain a doctorate from Harvard University. Early life and nursing Bin-Sallik was born in Broome, Western Australia, on 2 November 1940. She moved with her family to Darwin, Northern Territory, at age nine. On leaving school she trained as a nursing sister at Darwin Hospital, where she was the first Indigenous person to graduate in 1961. She then spent 17 years nursing in Aboriginal settlements in the Northern Territory. Keryn Williams
Professor Keryn Anne Williams is an Australian medical scientist who works in the field of ophthalmology. She was a Principal Research Fellow in the School of Medicine at Flinders University. Her research interests include clinical and experimental corneal transplantation, ocular inflammation, ocular immunology and eye banking. Early life and education Williams was born 5 September 1949. She graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science with first class honours in 1971. Michael Spence (academic)
Michael James Spence (born 10 January 1962) is an Australian university administrator who served as the Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Sydney from 2008 to 2020. He is currently the President and Provost of University College London. Spence has a background in intellectual property theory and was also ordained as an Anglican priest in 2006. Early life and education Spence's father was a high-school headmaster and his mother was a manager of the Bjelke–Petersen School of Physical Culture. Martin Parkinson
Martin Lee Parkinson (born 26 September 1958) is a senior Australian public servant. He was Secretary of the Department of the Treasury between March 2011 and December 2014. On 3 December 2015 it was announced that he would return to the public service as Secretary of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. Andrew Bruce Holmes (born 5 September 1943) is an Australian and British senior research chemist and professor at the Bio21 Institute, Melbourne, Australia, and the past President of the Australian Academy of Science.
