2016–17 USC Trojans Men's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 USC Trojans men's basketball team represented the University of Southern California during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by fourth-year head coach Andy Enfield. They played their home games at the Galen Center in Los Angeles as members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 26–10, 10–8 in Pac-12 play to finish in a tie for fifth place; their 26 victories set a program record. They defeated Washington in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament before losing in the quarterfinals to UCLA. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they defeated Providence in the First Four and SMU in the First Round before losing in the Second Round to Baylor. Andy Enfield
Andrew William Enfield (born June 8, 1969) is an American basketball coach who is the men's head coach for the USC Trojans of the Pac-12 Conference. He came to national prominence as head coach at Florida Gulf Coast when it made an unexpected run to the Sweet 16 round of the 2013 NCAA tournament as a No. 15 seed. Originally from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, Enfield played college basketball at Johns Hopkins University as a shooting guard and graduated with 18 school records. He holds the all-time NCAA record for free throw shooting percentage. A basketball coach since 1994, Enfield began his career as an assistant coach for the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics, after which he went on a brief hiatus from coaching to work as a business executive. The 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season began on November 13. The first tournament was the 2K Sports Classic and ended with the Final Four in Houston April 2–4. Practices officially began on October 2. The Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represents Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. They are a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). they are led by head coach Bryce Drew and play their home games at the GCU Arena. Darion Clark (born April 9, 1994) is an American football tight end who is a free agent. He played college basketball at the University of Southern California. Early years Clark attended Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. He played basketball in high school with Oak Hill Academy's basketball prep program. Strahinja Gavrilović (born 5 April 1993) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Mladost Zemun of the Adriatic League and the Basketball League of Serbia (KLS). Professional career After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft, Gavrilović signed a contract with the Serbian club Dynamic Belgrade.
