Rwanda National Football League
The Rwanda Premier League is the highest division of football in Rwanda. The league was formed in 1975. It was known as the Primus National Football League in 2004 and from 2009–10 to 2012–13, after which sponsorship was taken over by Turbo King. The league was renamed the Azam Rwanda Premier League for the 2015–16 season after Tanzanian television broadcasters Azam TV were announced as sponsors in a deal worth US$ 2.35 million covering five years. From 2019/the 2020 season Azam TV announced the termination of its contract with Rwanda FA. Rayon is a semi-synthetic fiber, made from natural sources of regenerated cellulose, such as wood and related agricultural products. It has the same molecular structure as cellulose. It is also called viscose. Many types and grades of viscose fibers and films exist. Some imitate the feel and texture of natural fibers such as silk, wool, cotton, and linen. The types that resemble silk are often called artificial silk. The fibre is used to make textiles for clothing and other purposes. Rayon production involves solubilizing cellulose to allow turning the fibers into required form. Three common ways to solubilize are the cuprammonium process, not in use today, using ammoniacal solutions of copper salts; the viscose process, the most common today, using alkali and carbon sulfide; and the Lyocell process, using amine oxide. 2018 CAF Champions League
The 2018 CAF Champions League (officially the 2018 Total CAF Champions League for sponsorship reasons) was the 54th edition of Africa's premier club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and the 22nd edition under the current CAF Champions League title. Espérance de Tunis won the title for the third time, defeating Al Ahly in the final, and qualified as the CAF representative at the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, and also earned the right to play against the winners of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup, Raja Casablanca, in the 2019 CAF Super Cup. The 2018 CAF Confederation Cup (officially the 2018 Total CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 15th edition of Africa's secondary club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), under the current CAF Confederation Cup title after the merger of CAF Cup and African Cup Winners' Cup. Raja Casablanca won the title for the first time, defeating AS Vita Club in the final, and earned the right to play against the winners of the 2018 CAF Champions League in the 2019 CAF Super Cup. 2015–16 Rwanda National Football League
The 2015–16 Rwanda National Football League, known as the Azam Rwanda Premier League for sponsorship reasons, is the 39th season of top-tier football in Rwanda. The season started on 18 September 2015 and concluded on 17 July 2016 with APR winning their third consecutive title and 16th overall, all in a span of 22 years. Rayon Sports finished second to qualify for the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup while Rwamagana City and Muhanga finished 15th and 16th, respectively, and will be relegated to the Rwandan Second Division for the 2016-17 season. Teams A total of 16 teams will contest the league after it expanded from 14 teams in 2014-15. Isonga were relegated to the Second Division after finishing 14th. Bugesera FC
Bugesera is a district (''akarere'') in Eastern Province, Rwanda. Its capital is Nyamata. The district is the location of two memorial sites of the Rwandan genocide at Ntarama and Nyamata. Geography Bugesera comprises areas south of Kigali, which were formerly in the Kigali Ngali province, around the town of Nyamata. The area is prone to droughts as it has a higher average daytime temperature than the Rwandan average, and lower precipitation.
