2016–17 Northeastern Huskies Men's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Northeastern Huskies men's basketball team represented Northeastern University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Huskies, led by eleventh-year head coach Bill Coen, played their home games at Matthews Arena in Boston Massachusetts as members of the Colonial Athletic Association. They finished the season 15–16, 8–10 in CAA play to finish in sixth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the CAA tournament to Towson. Previous season The Huskies finished the 2015–16 season 18–15, 9–9 in CAA play to finish in sixth place. They defeated Towson to advance to the semifinals of the CAA tournament where they lost to UNC Wilmington. David Michael Walker (born November 24, 1993) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Monbus Obradoiro of the Spanish Liga ACB. College career A 2012 graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School, Walker attended Northeastern University from 2012 to 2016. He finished his four-year Husky career as the school's eighth all-time leading scorer with 1,631 points, fifth all-time assist man (420 assists) and second all-time leader in three-pointers made (250). San Diego Toreros Men's Basketball
The San Diego Toreros men's basketball team is a college basketball team that represents the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. The school's team currently competes in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The team played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2008. The Toreros play their home games in the Jenny Craig Pavilion, and their head coach is Steve Lavin. The Florida Gators men's basketball team represents the University of Florida in the sport of basketball. The Gators compete in NCAA Division I's Southeastern Conference (SEC). Alex James Murphy (born June 3, 1993) is an American-Finnish professional basketball player for Levanga Hokkaido of the Japan B.League.
