The 2016–17 Missouri Tigers women's basketball team represents the University of Missouri in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Tigers were led by seventh year head coach Robin Pingeton. They play their games at Mizzou Arena and were members of the Southeastern Conference. Robin Pingeton
Robin Renee Pingeton (née Becker; born July 9, 1968) is the head coach of the University of Missouri's women's basketball team. She was hired in April 2010 to replace former head coach Cindy Stein. Career as player College Pingeton graduated in 1990 from Saint Ambrose University. She remains the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,502 points. She also earned All-America honors in softball and basketball. WBA Pingeton played three seasons of professional basketball in the Women's Basketball Association. Career as coach Before coming to Missouri, Pingeton was the head women's basketball coach at Illinois State University. William Mason High School, also known as Mason High School (WMHS or MHS), is a four-year public high school located in the Mason City Schools district in Mason, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. History Mason High School's first commencement was held May 21, 1886, at the Mason Presbyterian Church. The 2016–17 Washington Huskies women's basketball team represented University of Washington during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Huskies, led by fourth year head coach Mike Neighbors, played their home games at Alaska Airlines Arena and were members of the Pac-12 Conference. In the final regular season game for the Huskies on February 25, 2017, Kelsey Plum scored a Pac-12 record 57 points in an 84–77 win over Utah to set NCAA Division I women's basketball career scoring record. They finished the season 29–6, 15–3 in Pac-12 play to finish in a tie for second place. They were upset by the 10 seed Oregon in the quarterfinals of Pac-12 women's tournament. Pinnacle Bank Arena
Pinnacle Bank Arena is a 15,500-seat indoor arena in the West Haymarket District of Lincoln, Nebraska. It was completed in 2013 and replaced the Bob Devaney Sports Center as the home of the University of Nebraska's men's and women's basketball teams. A turn back tax to support a $25 million bond was approved by Lincoln voters on May 11, 2010. 2016–17 Abilene Christian Wildcats Women's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Abilene Christian Wildcats women's basketball team represented Abilene Christian University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Wildcats, led by fourth year head coach Julie Goodenough and played their home games at the Moody Coliseum. This was the fourth year of a 4-year transition phase from D2 to D1, In the fourth year of transition, Abilene Christian could not participate in the Southland Tournament, but was a Division I counter and was part of the Division I rpi calculation. The Wildcats played a full conference schedule in 2016–17.
