2016–17 Fresno State Bulldogs Men's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Fresno State Bulldogs men's basketball team represented California State University, Fresno during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Rodney Terry's sixth season at Fresno State. The Bulldogs played their home games at Save Mart Center as members of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 20–13, 11–7 in Mountain West play to finish in fourth place. They defeated New Mexico in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West tournament to advance to the semifinals where they lost to Nevada. They were invited National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to TCU. Previous season The Bulldogs finished the 2015–16 season 25–10, 13–5 in Mountain West play to finish in second place. Rodney Terry
Rodney Eric Terry (born March 27, 1968) is an American college basketball coach who is the interim head coach at Texas. Early life and education Born in Angleton, Texas, Terry graduated from Angleton High School and played college basketball at St. Edward's University in Austin. Terry graduated from St. Edward's in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in physical education. Coaching career Terry began his coaching career as an assistant coach at St. Edward's in the 1990–91 season. Then, Terry became an assistant at James Bowie High School also in Austin, where he would remain from 1991 to 1993. After his stint at Bowie, Terry became a head coach for the first time at Somerville High School in Somerville, Texas. 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2016 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 68 teams playing in a single-elimination tournament to determine the men's National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college basketball national champion for the 2015–16 season. The 78th edition of the Tournament began on March 15, 2016, and concluded with the championship game on April 4 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Otero Junior College
Otero College is a public community college in La Junta, Colorado. History Otero College was established in 1941 and was named La Junta Junior College. Which was operated by the school district. In 1949, an election was held to consider proposal that the college become an independent unit supported by the county instead. It was approved and the college was renamed as Otero County Junior College. The College changed its name again, to Otero Junior College in 1956. Los Lunas, New Mexico
Los Lunas is a village in Valencia County, New Mexico, United States. As of the 2010 census, the village population is 14,835 inside the village limits due to the new housing developments at El Cerro de Los Lunas (Huning Ranch). Marvelle Harris
Marvelle Martray Harris (born December 16, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for Bakken Bears of the Basketligaen. He played college basketball for Fresno State, where he was named the Mountain West Player of the Year as a senior in 2016. William Penn University
William Penn University is a private university in Oskaloosa, Iowa. It was founded by members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in 1873 as Penn College.
