2016–17 Fordham Rams Women's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Fordham Rams women's basketball team represented Fordham University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Rams were led by sixth-year head coach Stephanie Gaitley. They were members of the Atlantic 10 Conference and played their home games at the Rose Hill Gymnasium. They finished the season 22–12, 11–5 in A-10 play to finish in fifth place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the A-10 women's tournament where they lost to Saint Louis. Stephanie Gaitley
Stephanie Gaitley (née Vanderslice; born January 25, 1960) is the head basketball coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights, Fairleigh Dickinson Knights women's basketball. She has served as head basketball coach at Fordham University, Monmouth University, and Long Island University. During her six seasons at LIU, she posted a 95–82 record. In 2007, she guided LIU to a school record 22 wins, and the top overall seed in the NEC tournament. She was named the 2006-07 NEC coach of the year for her efforts. She led LIU to two 20+ win seasons, and the first WNIT appearance in school history. She also served as the head basketball coach at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. She led the Hawks to five 20 win seasons, and two Atlantic 10 championships, as well as five NCAA tournament appearances. She also coached at the University of Richmond from 1985 to 1991. California Golden Bears Women's Basketball
The California Golden Bears women's basketball team is the women's college basketball team of the University of California, Berkeley. The program has been to the NCAA tournament a total of nine times, and won three conference championships. The current head coach is Charmin Smith, who was hired on June 21, 2019. The team plays its home games at Haas Pavilion, which was built on top of the old Harmon Gymnasium using money donated in part by the owners of Levi-Strauss. The arena was originally known as Men's Gymnasium and then later Harmon Gymnasium until the late 1990s when it went through massive renovations which displaced the team for two seasons. Gainesville is a census-designated place (CDP) in western Prince William County, Virginia, United States. The population was 17,287 in the 2020 census. History Gainesville was once a changing point for stagecoach horses on the Fauquier & Alexandria Turnpike. In earlier times, the village that became known as “Gainesville” actually had two other names, if only briefly.
