Central Coast Mariners Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It competes in the A-League Men, under licence from the Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The Mariners were founded in 2004 and are one of the eight original A-League teams. It is the first professional sports club from the Gosford region to compete in a national competition. Despite being considered one of the smallest-market clubs in the league, the Central Coast Mariners have claimed one A-League Championship from four Grand Final appearances and topped the table to win the A-League Premiership twice. The club has also appeared in the AFC Champions League five times. The club plays matches at Central Coast Stadium, a 20,059-seat stadium in Gosford; its purpose-built training facility, Mariners Centre of Excellence, is located in the suburb of Tuggerah. Storm Roux
Storm James Roux ( ; born 13 January 1993) is a New Zealand international footballer who plays as a right back for A-League Men club Central Coast Mariners and the New Zealand national team. Roux played youth football with Sorrento, Football West National Training Centre and Perth Glory youth before making his professional debut with Perth Glory. In 2013, he joined Central Coast Mariners, where he made over 100 appearances before joining Melbourne Victory in 2018. He returned to Central Coast Mariners in 2021. Liam Rose
Liam Joseph Rose (born 7 April 1997) is an Australian footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for USL Championship club El Paso Locomotive. Career Rose was educated at Bossley Park High School. Central Coast Mariners Rose was signed alongside fellow AIS scholarship holder Anthony Kalik on full senior contracts by then Central Coast Mariners' coach Graham Arnold. Adam Berry (footballer)
Adam Stephen Berry (born 20 February 1997) is an Australian professional footballer who currently plays for Blacktown City. Berry played youth football for Blacktown City, Leeds United and Central Coast Mariners before making his professional debut for the Mariners in 2016. He has appeared for the Australian under-20 side. Early life Berry grew up playing football in Castle Hill from age four, and attended Galston High School. Kwabena Appiah-Kubi (born 1992) is a New Zealand-born professional footballer who plays as a winger for Indonesian club Madura United. Appiah also holds Australian citizenship. Connor Thomas Pain (born 11 November 1993) is an Australian professional football (soccer) player who plays as a forward for Western United. Nick Montgomery
Nicholas Anthony Montgomery (born 28 October 1981) is a football coach and former player, who is currently the head coach of Scottish Premiership club Hibernian. A defensive midfielder, Montgomery spent the majority of his career with Sheffield United, making 398 appearances across twelve seasons. Towards the end of his time in England, he had a short spell on loan with Millwall. In 2012, he moved to Australia to play for Central Coast Mariners, and became club captain in 2015. After leaving the Mariners in 2017, he went on to play for Wollongong Wolves for two seasons. Blake Powell (born 18 April 1991) is an Australian football (soccer) player who plays as a striker for APIA Leichhardt in the National Premier Leagues NSW.
