The 2016 Yas Marina GP3 Series round was a GP3 Series motor race held on 26 and 27 November 2016 at the Yas Marina Circuit in the United Arab Emirates. It was the final showdown of the 2016 GP3 Series. The race weekend supported the 2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Yas Marina Circuit
The Yas Marina Circuit (Arabic: حلبة مرسى ياس) is the venue for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke, and is situated on Yas Island, near Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Yas Marina was the second of four Formula One tracks in the Middle East, with the first being in Bahrain and subsequent tracks in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. A two-day GP2 Asia Series test was held to officially open the circuit, which was held a week before the 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It also hosted the opening event for the Australian V8 Supercars series, the Yas V8 400, in February 2010. Outside motorsport the circuit was used for the final stage of the inaugural Abu Dhabi Tour cycle race in 2015. The circuit has an FIA Grade 1 license. Sandy Nicholas Stuvik ( th, แซนดี้ นิโคลัส สตูวิค; born 11 April 1995), also referred to as Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik, is a Thai racing driver. Career Karting Born in Phuket to a Norwegian father, Martin Stuvik, and a Thai mother. Stuvik began karting in 2002 in the local karting championships. Artur Janosz (born 16 June 1993) is a Polish racing driver. Career Karting Born on 16 June 1993 in Pszczyna, Janosz began karting in 2010 in the local Senior category of the Rotax International Open, in which he became 24th. This is the only registered karting championship in which he competed. Euroformula Open Janosz graduated to the European F3 Open Championship, with Campos Racing, in 2013. Campos Racing
Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport. In 1998 the team began by competing in the new Open Fortuna by Nissan, with Marc Gené and Antonio García as drivers.
