2016 Web.com Tour
The 2016 Web.com Tour was the 27th season of the top developmental tour for the PGA Tour in men's golf, and the fifth under the current sponsored name of Web.com Tour. It ran from January 28 to September 25. The season was to consist of 25 official money tournaments, six of them played outside of the United States, but the season-ending Web.com Tour Championship was canceled due to Hurricane Matthew. Brad Fritsch
Brad Fritsch (born November 9, 1977) is a Canadian professional golfer. Career Fritsch was born in Edmonton, Alberta and grew up in Ottawa, Ontario. Fritsch played on the Canadian Tour from 2001 to 2006 and again from 2010 to 2011. His best finish was second at the 2004 Bay Mills Open Players Championship. He played on the Web.com Tour from 2007 to 2009, 2012 and 2015. He won the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament in 2014. His best finish was T-2 at the 2012 Mylan Classic. Fritsch gained his PGA Tour card for 2013 by finishing in the top 25 of the Web.com Tour money list in 2012. He improved his position by finishing T-7 at the 2012 PGA Tour Qualifying School. He made 18 cuts in 24 events in 2013, finishing 142nd on the money list and missing the FedEx Cup playoffs by four places (ranked 129th). James Driscoll
James Driscoll (born October 9, 1977) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Driscoll was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the youngest of seven children. He grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts, outside Boston. He started golf at a young age and won the club championship at his home club of Charles River at age 15. A year later, he won the Massachusetts Junior Championship. He then went on to win the Massachusetts State Amateur Championship in 1996 at the age of 18, becoming the youngest-ever winner of the tournament, and again in 1998. John Maxwell Homa (born November 19, 1990) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. In college, he won the individual 2013 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. The Rust-Oleum Championship was a golf tournament on the Web.com Tour from 2014 to 2018. It was first played in June 2014 as the Cleveland Open at the Lakewood Country Club in Westlake, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. In 2016, it moved to Ivanhoe Club in Ivanhoe, Illinois. Dominic Bozzelli (born May 22, 1991) is an American professional golfer. Bozzelli was born in Rochester, New York. He played college golf at Auburn University after transferring from University of Central Florida. At Auburn, he won three events. The Corales Puntacana Championship is a golf tournament in the Dominican Republic on the PGA Tour, formerly on the Web.com Tour. It was first played in 2016 at the Puntacana Resort and Club, on the east coast in the province. Richard Raymond Werenski (born December 22, 1991) is an American professional golfer. Early life Werenski was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, but grew up in South Hadley and played golf at The Orchards Golf Club. He played college golf at Georgia Tech. He won the 2012 Porter Cup. The BMW Charity Pro-Am is a golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour. It is currently played at Thornblade Club (host course) in Greer, South Carolina and The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Trey Mullinax (born June 29, 1992) is an American professional golfer. Mullinax was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended and played golf at Gardendale High School. He played college golf at the University of Alabama where he won two tournaments, was an All-American, and helped the team to the 2013 and 2014 NCAA Championships.
