2016 United Football League (Philippines)
The 2016 United Football League was the seventh and last season of the UFL since its establishment as a semi-professional league in 2009. Division 2 is disbanded for this season with all teams competing in one division. The league competition which started on April 30 and ended on October 24 will followed a pure double round robin match with no play-offs. For this edition the foreign player cap is reduced to four from five foreign players in a playing squad of 18 players, including 7 substitutes. At least one of the four maximum allowable foreign players must be from the Asian country. This was to align to the guidelines followed at the AFC Cup and AFC Champions League. However, a club with more than 25 players may have more than four foreign players in their whole squad provided that they comply with the 4-player foreign player limit rule during match day. Risto Vidaković
Risto Vidaković (Serbian Cyrillic: Pиcтo Bидaкoвић; born 5 January 1969) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player who is currently managing Singapore Premier League club Lion City Sailors. He spent his playing career as a centre-back for Yugoslav clubs Sarajevo and Red Star Belgrade before moving to Spain, where he spent five seasons with Real Betis in La Liga, and a season each for Osasuna and Poli Ejido. Internationally, he represented Yugoslavia and FR Yugoslavia. After retiring as a player, Vidaković became an assistant coach for the Serbia national team and Segunda División side Murcia. Masaki Yanagawa
is a former Japanese football player. Club career Yanagawa was born in Sanda on May 1, 1987. He joined J2 League club Vissel Kobe from youth team in 2006. In first season, he played many matches as center back and the club was promoted to J1 League. However he could hardly play in the match from 2007. He moved to Ventforet Kofu in 2010. Although he returned to Vissel in 2011, he had no opportunity to play and moved to Thespa Kusatsu in July 2011. From 2012, he played for Tochigi SC (2012) and Gainare Tottori (2013-14). Yu Hoshide
is a Japanese football manager and former player, who is currently the head coach of Kaya–Iloilo in the Philippines Football League. He played as a midfielder and spent his career in Japan, the United States, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Philippines. He was the player-coach of JP Voltes during the 2016 season of the United Football League. Career Youth and college Hoshide was born in Tokyo, Japan.
