The 2016 Seattle Reign FC season is the club's fourth season of play and their fourth season in the National Women's Soccer League, the top division of women's soccer in the United States. The club enters the season as the two-time defending winner of the NWSL Shield. Seattle Reign FC
OL Reign is an American professional women's soccer team based in Seattle, Washington. Founded by Bill and Teresa Predmore in 2012 as Seattle Reign FC, it was one of eight inaugural members of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). In 2020, OL Groupe, the parent company of French clubs Olympique Lyonnais and Olympique Lyonnais Féminin, became the team's majority owner and rebranded to its current name, badge, and colors. Laura Harvey is the team's head coach; she led the team to two consecutive NWSL Shield wins in 2014 and 2015 and a third in 2022. OL Reign has played its home matches at Lumen Field since 2022. Lindsay Christina Elston (born April 30, 1992) is an American soccer midfielder who played for FC Metz, the Houston Dash, and the Seattle Reign FC. She has represented the United States on the under-18 and under-20 national soccer teams. She announced her retirement in September 2017. Rumi Utsugi
is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Tokyo Verdy Beleza of the WE League. She previously played for Reign FC and Montpellier. A former Japanese international, Utsugi helped the team win the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup. Club career Utsugi was born in Kawasaki on 5 December 1988. Andi Alise Tostanoski (born August 29, 1994) is an American soccer goalkeeper who played for Seattle Reign FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) as a non-rostered amateur player. During her time at the Reign she earned multiple single game contracts and eventually a mid-season full contract. Carson Leighann Pickett (born September 15, 1993) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender for Racing Louisville FC of the NWSL and the United States national team.
