2016 Malaysia President's Cup
The 2015 Piala Presiden (referred to as the President's Cup) is the 32nd season of the Piala Presiden since its establishment in 1985. The league is currently the youth level (U21) football league in Malaysia. Kelantan U21 are the defending champions. Rule changes The Piala Presiden is the amateur football competition in Malaysia for under-21 players. Since its inception in 1985, the Piala Presiden has been the major tournament for under-21 and under-23 players. In 2009, the format of the competition was changed with only under-20 players eligible to be fielded for the tournament. In 2015 the format of the competition reverted to the original format with under-21 players.. Teams The following teams will be participate in the 2016 Piala Presiden. Kelantan FA
Kelantan Football Club ( ms, Kelab Bola Sepak Kelantan) is a Malaysian professional football club based in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The club plays in the Malaysia Super League, the top tier of Malaysian football since 2023. Founded in 1946, the club have a long-standing rivalry with Terengganu, the two east coast clubs involved in what is known as the East Coast Derby. Their home is the 22,000-seat Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium. Kelantan's regular kit colours are red shirt and shorts with a white pattern on the side. Melaka United Football Club () was a defunct Malaysian professional football club based in Malacca that competes in the Malaysia Super League. They were owned by Kenteam Sdn Bhd which is one of nitrile glove producer in Malaysia. Previously, the club's home ground since then has been Hang Tuah Stadium before moving to Hang Jebat Stadium in Paya Rumput / Krubong in 1924. The club represents the state of Malacca in Malaysian football competitions. Mohd Hashim Mustapha
Mohd Hashim Mustapha (31 January 1966 – 29 November 2022) was a Malaysian professional footballer who played as a striker. Career Hashim was born in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. In the period from the 1980s until 2000, he played for several Malaysian clubs such as Kelantan, Kedah, Johor, Kelantan JKR FC and Kelantan TNB FC as a striker. Hashim is Malaysia Premier League golden boot winner in 1994 season with 29 goals in 30 matches. With Malaysia, Hashim made his international debut against Burma during the 1987 Southeast Asian Games. In the same competition, he scored his only international goal in a 2–0 semi final win over Thailand. He also participated in the 1994 Asian Games. After he retired from playing professional football, Hashim ventured into coaching. He was the coach of D'ar Wanderers in 2018 FAM League.
