The 2016 Las Vegas Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the second edition of the revamped tournament which was the part of the 2016 ATP Challenger Tour. Hard Court
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Denis Kudla
Denis Kudla ( ; born August 17, 1992) is an American professional tennis player. A product of the Junior Tennis Champions Center, he has won eight Challenger singles titles and nine Challenger doubles titles in his career. His career-high ATP singles ranking is World No. 53, achieved in May 2016. His career-high ATP doubles ranking is World No. 133, achieved in August 2018. Tennis Channel Open
The Tennis Channel Open was a men's tennis tournament on the ATP International Series which was held for the first time in Las Vegas, Nevada from February 27 to March 5, 2006. In the men's singles final, James Blake defeated Lleyton Hewitt while the men's doubles title was won by Bob and Mike Bryan. In 2005, The Tennis Channel purchased the tournament from IMG and moved it from Scottsdale to Las Vegas. In April 2008, The Tennis Channel announced that it was selling the tournament to the ATP, and the week the event had been held was now the first week of Davis Cup. Past finals The tournament had been in existence since 1986 located at the Scottsdale Radisson Resort. From 1987–2005 the tournament took place at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, where Andre Agassi was crowned champion four times. Lloyd Glasspool (born 19 November 1993) is a British professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. He has a career-high doubles ranking of No. 12 (November 2022) and a career-high singles ranking of No. 282 (July 2016). Liam Tarquin Broady (born 4 January 1994) is a tennis player and current British No. 6. Alejandro Falla Ramírez (; born 14 November 1983) is a retired professional male tennis player from Colombia.
