2016 K3 League
The 2016 K3 League was the tenth season of amateur K3 League. Before the start of the 2016 season, Seoul FC Martyrs withdrew from the league, but Buyeo FC, Siheung Citizen and Yangpyeong FC joined the league. The top five teams of the regular season qualified for the championship playoffs, and winners of the regular season advanced to the final directly. On the other hand, eight teams of participating teams had to be relegated to the K3 League Basic, founded as the second division of the K3 League in 2017. The bottom five teams of the regular season were directly relegated, and three losing teams were additionally relegated after the relegation playoffs, contested between four teams from 12th to 15th-placed team. K3 League (2007–2019)
The K3 League was a South Korean amateur football league held annually from 2007 to 2019. It was considered the third-highest division of the South Korean football league system before the K League 2 was launched in 2013, and the fourth-highest division since then. In 2017, it was divided into ''K3 League Advanced'' and fifth-tier league ''K3 League Basic'', and introduced a system of promotion and relegation. In 2020, it was reborn as a K3 League, semi-professional league after merging with the Korea National League. Chungbuk Cheongju FC
Chungbuk Cheongju FC (Korean: 충북 청주 FC), formerly Cheongju FC (Korean: 청주 FC), is a South Korean football club based in the city of Cheongju that competes in the K League 2, the second tier of South Korean football. Goyang (''Goyang-si''; ) is a city in Gyeonggi Province in the north of South Korea. It is part of the Seoul Capital Area, making Goyang one of Seoul's satellite cities. Goyang Citizen FC was a South Korean football club based in the city of Goyang. It was founded because of the disappointment created by Goyang KB Kookmin Bank FC, which decided not to elevate to K-League after winning the Korea National League in 2006. Gimpo () is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It borders Incheon, with which it shares the South Korean side of the Han River estuary, as well as Seoul and the lesser cities of Paju and Goyang. North Korea is across the Han River. Gimpo FC ( ko, 김포 FC), formerly Gimpo Citizen FC, is a South Korean football club based in the city of Gimpo. Kim Young-ho (born April 9, 1971 in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea) is a South Korean foil fencer. At the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, he won the gold medal in individual foil, defeating Ralf Bissdorf of Germany in the final.
