2016 FIBA Under-17 World Championship For Women
The 2016 FIBA Under-17 World Championship for Women (Spanish:Campeonato Mundial FIBA Sub-17 Femenino 2016) was an international basketball competition that was held in Zaragoza, Spain from 22 June 22 to 2 July 2016. It was the fourth edition of the FIBA Under-17 World Championship for Women. Sixteen national teams competed in the tournament. Australia women's national under-17 basketball team, Australia won its first gold medal in this event by beating Italy women's national under-17 basketball team, Italy, 62–38. In the semifinals, Australia beat the USA Women's U16 and U17 teams, United States 73–60, handing the Americans their first ever loss in the history of the Under-17 World Championships. The United States would go on to win bronze. Eziyoda Magbegor
Eziyoda Magbegor (born 13 August 1999) is an Australian professional basketball player for Sopron Basket of the EuroLeague Women and the Hungarian women's basketball league. Magbegor was a member of the Australian Women's basketball team (Opals) at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Opals were eliminated after losing to the USA in the quarterfinals. Career WNBA The 2020 WNBA season was atypical, played entirely inside Bradenton, Florida's IMG Academy, dubbed the "wubble," the WNBA's version of the NBA's Bubble. Utebo ( an, Utevo) is a town located in the province of Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. At the time of the 2011 census (INE), the municipality had a population of 18,602 inhabitants, being the third most populous town of the province, only surpassed by Zaragoza and Calatayud, and one of the most populous in Aragon.
