The 2016 Colorado State Rams football team represented Colorado State University during the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Rams were led by second-year head coach Mike Bobo and played their home games at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium. It was their last season before moving to a new stadium in 2017. Mike Bobo
Robert Michael Bobo (born April 9, 1974) is an American college football coach who is currently the Offensive Analyst for the Georgia Bulldogs. He was recently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Auburn Tigers. He was the head coach of the Colorado State Rams football team from 2015 to 2019. He succeeded Jim McElwain at CSU, making him the second consecutive SEC offensive coordinator hired to coach the Rams. Before joining the Rams, he spent all but one of the first 22 years of his adult life with the Georgia Bulldogs as a player or assistant coach. Playing career Bobo played for the Thomasville High School Bulldogs (Thomasville, Georgia) before playing college football at the University of Georgia. The 2016 UTSA Roadrunners football team represented the University of Texas at San Antonio in the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Roadrunners played their home games at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas and competed in the West Division of Conference USA (C–USA). They were led by first-year head coach Frank Wilson.
