2016 COSAFA U-20 Cup
The 2016 COSAFA U-20 Cup will be the 23rd edition of the COSAFA U20 Cup, an international youth competition open to national associations of the COSAFA region. In April 2016, it was announced that South Africa would be the host nation of the competition. The competition is open to players born on or before 1 January 1997, ensuring that all participants are also eligible for the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations. Luther Singh
Luther Wesley Singh (born 5 August 1997) is a South African professional football player who plays as a winger for Primeira Liga club Chaves, on loan from Danish club Copenhagen, and the South Africa national team. Prior to making his senior international debut in 2017, Singh represented the South Africa national under-20 team, with whom he won the Golden Boot award at both the 2016 COSAFA Under-20 Championships and the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations. Marcus Dray Dimanche (born 20 May 1998), is an Australian-born Mauritian footballer who currently played as a midfielder for the Preston Lions of the National Premier Leagues Victoria 2 and the Mauritius national football team. Daryl Louise (born 12 August 1998) is a Seychellois footballer who currently plays for Abingdon United F.C. and the Seychelles national team. Club career In 2014, Louise was part of the Seychelles national under-17 team that competed in the Seychelles Division Two. The following year he played with the national under-16 team in the Third Division and was given the team's Best Player Award following the season. By 2017, Louise had joined Northern Dynamo FC of the Seychelles Division One. Junior Fashion Sakala (born 14 March 1997) is a Zambian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Scottish Premiership club Rangers and the Zambia national team. Patson Daka (born 9 October 1998) is a Zambian professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Leicester City and the Zambia national team. Coming through the youth system, Daka played for local club Kafue Celtic, who sent him on loan to Nchanga Rangers and Power Dynamos.
