2016 Bradford Bulls Season
This article details the Bradford Bulls rugby league football club's 2016 season. This was the Bulls' second season in the Championship, after narrowly missing out on promotion in the previous season's £1 Million Game which they lost 24-16 to the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. Season Review July 2015 Bradford started their preparations for the 2016 season by announcing several departures from the club. The first of these were youngster Sam Bates who left to search for another club. Young hooker Nathan Conroy also moved to Championship side Dewsbury Rams whilst scrum half Adam Brook made his loan move to Keighley Cougars, a permanent one. Due to injuries prop Karl Davies retired from the sport and Dave Petersen signed for Sheffield Eagles without even playing a game for the Bulls. Championship (rugby League)
The Championship, known as the Betfred Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a professional rugby league competition. It is the second-tier competition organised by the Rugby Football League, the governing body for the sport in England, and consists of 14 teams, with promotion to the Super League and relegation to the third-tier competition, League One. The league announced a two-year sponsorship deal with the bookmaking company Betfred ahead of the 2018 season. The current champions are Leigh Centurions, winners of the 2022 season after beating Batley Bulldogs in the Million Pound Game to win promotion to Super League 2023. Karl Davies
Karl Davies (born 6 August 1982) is an English actor, and voice actor, who portrayed Lyle Anderson in the TV series ''Kingdom''. The Super League (officially known as the Betfred Super League due to sponsorship from Betfred and legally known as Super League Europe), is the top-level of the British rugby league system. At present the league consists of twelve teams, of which eleven are from Northern England, reflecting the sport's geographic heartland within the UK, and one from southern France. Ryan Shaw (born 26 September 1992) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays or for the Barrow Raiders in Betfred Championship. Shaw is a product of the Warrington Wolves academy, spending time on loan from Warrington at the Castleford Tigers and the London Broncos in the Super League, the Leigh Centurions and the Swinton Lions in the Co-operative Championship, Barrow in the Championship 1 and the Co-operative Championship. Adam Henry (born 2 September 1991) is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who last played for Racing Club Albi in the Elite One Championship. London Broncos
The London Broncos are a professional rugby league club in London, England. The club competes in the RFL Championship. It was a member of Super League from its inaugural season in 1996 until the end of the 2014 season, when they were relegated to the Championship.
