2016 Big Ten Men's Soccer Tournament
The 2016 Big Ten Conference men's soccer tournament was the 26th edition of the tournament. It determined the Big Ten Conference's automatic berth into the 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. Maryland entered the tournament as the defending champions. The top-seeded Maryland Terrapins won the Big Ten title for a third consecutive year, defeating the third-seed, Wisconsin in the championship match, 2–1. Maryland's D. J. Reeves opened the scoring 90 seconds into the match, while Wisconsin's Tom Barlow tied the game in the 12th minute. Shortly before halftime, Maryland's Sebastian Elney headed in a Jorge Calix cross to give Maryland the 2–1 lead, which would prove to be the final scoreline. Grand Park (Indiana)
Grand Park Sports Campus is a sports complex located in Westfield, Indiana. The park features 26 baseball and softball diamonds, 31 multipurpose fields for soccer, football, and lacrosse. The Grand Park Events Center is now open, featuring three full-sized indoor soccer fields, a restaurant and administrative offices. The Pacers Athletic Center indoor basketball/volleyball facility opened in January 2016. Grand Park also features an abundance of green space and more than of pedestrian/bicycle trails, including the largest trailhead on the Monon Corridor. The site hosted the 2016 Big Ten Conference Men's Soccer Tournament and the 2017 Big Ten Conference Women's Soccer Tournament. Christopher Mueller (soccer)
Christopher Matthew Mueller (born August 29, 1996) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire and the United States national team. Following a collegiate career at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Mueller was the sixth overall pick of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft, joining Orlando City where he became the club's all-time leading appearance maker during a four-season spell. Tom Barlow (born July 8, 1995) is an American professional Association football, soccer player who plays as a Forward (association football), forward for Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire FC. Career Youth career Barlow grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Chaminade College Preparatory School (Missouri), Chaminade College Preparatory School.
