2016 Auburn Tigers Softball Team
The 2016 Auburn Tigers softball team is an American softball team, representing Auburn University for the 2016 NCAA softball season. The Auburn Tigers softball, Auburn Tigers play their home games at Jane B. Moore Field. In 2015, the Auburn Tigers softball, Auburn Tigers softball team went 56-11 during Clint Myers second season, and won its first 2015 SEC softball tournament, SEC softball tournament on May 9, 2015, at Tiger Park in Baton Rouge, LA, by defeating #11 Tennessee Lady Volunteers softball, Tennessee in extra innings. LSU Tigers Softball
The LSU Tigers softball team represents Louisiana State University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and plays home games in Tiger Park. The team is currently coached by Beth Torina. History LSU has won nine Western Division titles, five regular season SEC championships and five SEC tournament championships. LSU has also appeared in six Women's College World Series and nineteen NCAA tournaments. Outfielder
An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder. As an outfielder, their duty is to catch fly balls and ground balls then to return them to the infield for the out or before the runner advances, if there are any runners on the bases. As an outfielder, they normally play behind the six players located in the field. By convention, each of the nine defensive positions in baseball is numbered. The Georgia State Panthers softball team represents Georgia State University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference. It competed in the Atlantic Sun Conference (A-Sun) prior to joining the CAA.
