2016 Arnold Palmer Cup
The 2016 Arnold Palmer Cup was held from 24 to 26 June 2016 at Formby Golf Club in Formby, Merseyside, England. Europe won to . Format On Friday, there were five matches of foursomes in the morning, followed by five four-ball matches in the afternoon. Ten singles matches were played on Saturday, and ten more on Sunday. In all, 30 matches were played. Each of the 30 matches was worth one point in the larger team competition. If a match was all square after the 18th hole, each side earned half a point toward their team total. The team that accumulated at least points won the competition. Maverick McNealy
Maverick Scott McNealy (born November 7, 1995) is an American professional golfer and 2018 graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Management Science and Engineering. In late 2016 and early 2017, he was the number one ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. McNealy qualified for the 2014 U.S. Open at Pinehurst at the age of 18. During the 2014−15 golf season, McNealy shot a 61 in the final round of the Pac-12 Conference Championship tournament, tying the 18-hole Stanford record held by Tiger Woods and Cameron Wilson. Charlie Danielson
Charlie Danielson (born January 16, 1994) is an American professional golfer, who played on the Korn Ferry Tour before serious knee injuries forced him to step away. He was a highly ranked amateur golfer before turning professional in 2016. Early life Danielson was born in Osceola, Wisconsin in 1994, to parents Craig and Liz Danielson.
