Ron Sanchez
Ron Sanchez is a Dominican college basketball coach who is the associate head coach for the Virginia Cavaliers men's basketball team. He was most recently the head coach at Charlotte 49ers men's basketball, Charlotte from 2018 until his resignation on June 6, 2023. Playing career Sanchez played collegiately at State University of New York at Oneonta, SUNY Oneonta where he was a two-time State University of New York Athletic Conference, SUNYAC all-conference selection, and SUNYAC Player of the Year for the 1995-96 season. He was inducted into the Red Dragons' athletic hall of fame in 2007. The 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference, held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, from March 10–14, 2015.
