2015–16 TT Pro League
The 2015–16 TT Pro League season (known as the ''Digicel Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) is the seventeenth season of the TT Pro League, the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1999. A total of ten teams are contesting the league, with Central FC the defending champions from the 2014–15 season. The season began on 25 September 2015 and concluded on 21 May 2016 with the crowning of Central FC as the league champion. The first goal of the season was scored by North East Stars' Alonzo Adlam against new team Club Sando in the seventeenth minute of the first round of matches on 25 September 2015. The first hat-trick of the season was recorded on 12 December 2015 by Jomal Williams of W Connection against St. Ann's Rangers in a 5–0 shutout at Ato Boldon Stadium. TT Pro League
The TT Pro League (formerly known as the Professional Football League) is the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs. It is the country's primary football competition and serves as the top division in the Trinidad and Tobago football league system. Contested by ten clubs, the league is one of the world's few football leagues that does not operate on an automatic system of promotion and relegation. Seasons run from September to May, with teams playing 18 games each totaling 90 games in the season. Most games are played in the evenings of Fridays (''Super Fridays'') and Saturdays (''Fiesta Saturdays''), with a few games played during weekday evenings. Caledonia (; ) was the Latin name used by the Roman Empire to refer to the part of Great Britain () that lies north of the River Forth, which includes most of the land area of Scotland. Akeem Adams
Akeem Elijah Adams (13 April 1991 – 30 December 2013) was a Trinidadian international footballer who played as a defender. Club career Early career Adams spent his early career in Trinidad with W Connection, T&TEC SC, United Petrotrin and Central. Akeem received a trial with the Seattle Sounders of Major League Soccer and played the second half of an international friendly against Chivas de Guadalajara on October 12, 2010 in Seattle. Ferencváros, illness and death In August 2013, Akeem signed a contract with Hungarian club Ferencváros. On 25 September 2013, Adams suffered a heart attack. His condition did not improve quickly enough and his left leg had to be amputated on October 8 in a life-saving surgery. Dexter Skeene (born 1 April 1964 in Trinidad and Tobago) is a former international Trinidadian footballer having played for Malta Carib Alcons, Maple Club, and the national team. Skeene is currently the CEO of the TT Pro League, having assumed the role of the country's highest level of league football on 1 April 2004. Ato Boldon Stadium
The Ato Boldon Stadium is an athletics and football stadium located in Balmain, Couva, Trinidad and Tobago. It is currently the home ground of Central and Club Sando. History The stadium was constructed for the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Championship which was hosted by Trinidad and Tobago, and was named for eight-time Olympic and World Championship medal winner and 1997 200m World Champion, sprinter Ato Boldon. Jomal Evans Williams (born 28 April 1994) is a Trinidadian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Águila, and for the Trinidad and Tobago national team. Williams' professional career began with W Connection in his native Trinidad and Tobago, where he made his first-team debut in 2011, at the age of 17. During his time with the ''Savonetta Boys'', the team won the TT Pro League title and the FA Trophy during the 2013–14 season.
