2015–16 St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers men's basketball team represented St. Francis College during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Terrier's home games were played at the Generoso Pope Athletic Complex. The team has been a member of the Northeast Conference since 1981. They were coached by Glenn Braica who was in his sixth year at the helm of the Terriers. They finished the season 15–17, 11–7 in NEC play to finish in a three-way tie for second place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the NEC tournament to Mount St. Mary's. Preseason The Terriers lost 4 players to graduation; point guard Brent Jones, forward Lowell Ulmer, swingman Kevin Douglas and forward Jalen Cannon. The biggest losses being Cannon and Jones, both of which led the team is various statistical categories last year and broke several program and conference records. Glenn Braica
Glenn Braica (born September 16, 1964) is the men's basketball head coach at St. Francis College since 2010. Braica was born in Brooklyn, New York and is an alumnus of Bishop Ford High School and Queens College. Braica began his head coaching career at St. Francis College in 2010 and had 22 years of coaching experience at the time split between New York City Tech, St. Francis and St. John's as an assistant coach. Biography Braica attended St. Agnes High School from 1980–82 and Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School, Bishop Ford in Brooklyn from 1982–84. Braica went on to Queens College, City University of New York, Queens College and played for the Knights from 1984–88 as a point guard. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. 2015–16 Boston College Eagles Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Boston College Eagles men's basketball team represented Boston College during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Eagles, led by second year head coach Jim Christian, played their home games at Conte Forum and were members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Eagles finished the season with a record of 7–25, 0–18 to finish in last place in ACC play. This was the first time a team went winless in the ACC during a season. Fjölbrautaskólinn í Breiðholti (The polytechnic school in Breiðholt) is an Icelandic higher educational institute and gymnasium. Founded in 1975, the school currently has a student population of around 2800 people divided between about 1600 students in morning classes, about 500 students in evening classes, and about 700 students in summer school. The school is known for offering multiple educational "paths" which has led to some calling it a rounded collection of schools in the same building. All in all there are 27 paths one can take, including fine arts, cosmetology, nursing, media studies and athletics. The school follows a unit system. Reykjanesbær () is a municipality on the Southern Peninsula (''Suðurnes'') in Iceland, though the name is also used by locals to refer to the suburban region of Keflavík and Njarðvík which have grown together over the years.
