2015–16 Liga De Nuevos Talentos Season
The 2015–16 Liga de Nuevos Talentos season was split in two tournaments Apertura and Clausura. Liga de Nuevos Talentos was the fourth–tier football league of Mexico. The season was played between 14 August 2015 and 7 May 2016. Torneo Apertura Changes from the previous season 26 teams participated in this tournament. *Mineros de Fresnillo, 2014–15 season champion, remained in this division because the team did not meet the requirements to be promoted to the Liga Premier de Ascenso. * C.D. Uruapan and Sporting Canamy were promoted from Tercera División. Serie B De México
The Serie B is a Mexican association football league. Eleven teams compete in one group. Since the 2021–22 season, it is two short tournaments. The top two teams directly to the semifinals & the next four teams in the standings at end of each torneo will play will play a one-game playoff to advance to the Liguilla to play for promotion to Liga Premier de México, Liga Premier – Serie A de México, Serie A, and the stadium must meet the requirements to promote as well. In the 2020–21 season, Serie B was on hiatus due to COVID-19, but Serie B was reactivated for the 2021–22 season. Académicos de Atlas was a reserve team of Atlas, in 2005-06 season known as Coyotes de Sonora. History In 2004–05 Segunda División de México season, Académicos won the opening and closing champion of group Liguilla de Ascenso and promoted to Ascenso MX. The club was renamed to Coyotes and re-located to Hermosillo, Sonora, but remained as part of Atlas. After a season, the club changed the name back to Académicos. The Club Deportivo de Fútbol Zitácuaro, commonly known as Zitácuaro, is a Mexican football club based in Zitácuaro. The club was founded in 1995, and currently plays in the Serie B of Liga Premier. Club Deportivo Atlético Tecomán is a Mexican football club that plays in the Tercera División de México. The club is based in Tecomán, Colima and was founded in 1978 under the name Estudiantes de Tecomán and was owned by IAETAC, a private university in the city. With this name the team got its first title in 1983 when it won the Tercera División. During that period Tecomán was an affiliated team of Tecos UAG, since the Autonomous University of Guadalajara is the owner of IAETAC. During the 1980s and 1990s it was the most important team in the state of Colima due to its continued presence in the Mexican Second Division.
