The 2015–16 LSU Lady Tigers basketball team will represent Louisiana State University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season college basketball season. The Lady Tigers are led by fifth year head coach Nikki Fargas. They play their home games at Pete Maravich Assembly Center and are members of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 10–21, 3–13 in SEC play to finish in thirteenth place. They advanced to the second round of the 2016 SEC women's basketball tournament, SEC women's tournament where they lost to Kentucky. Nikki Fargas
Yolanda Nicole Fargas (; born May 21, 1972) is an American women's basketball, basketball coach and executive. She is the president of the Las Vegas Aces of the WNBA. Fargas was formerly the head coach for the women's basketball programs at UCLA Bruins women's basketball, UCLA and LSU Lady Tigers basketball, LSU. Early life Born Yolanda Nicole Caldwell in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Fargas was raised by her mother and attended public schools. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School (Oak Ridge, Tennessee), Oak Ridge High School in 1990. She was a member of the school basketball team that won the Tennessee state championship in 1988. As of 2009, Fargas still held the high school's single-season records for total points scored and for successful free throws.
