2015–16 IUPUI Jaguars Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 IUPUI Jaguars men's basketball team represented Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Jaguars, led by second-year head coach Jason Gardner, played their home games at Indiana Farmers Coliseum, and were members of The Summit League. They finished the season 13–19, 9–7 in Summit League play to finish in fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of The Summit League tournament to North Dakota State. Jason Gardner
Jason Corey Gardner (born November 14, 1980) is an American retired professional basketball player and currently a player relations director at the University of Arizona. Gardner is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, playing his high school ball at North Central High Sxhool. He was honored at Indiana Mr. Basketball in 1999. The point guard then starred at Arizona from 1999 to 2003. His team finished second place in the 2001 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, losing to Duke University. As a senior in 2003, Gardner was named an Associated Press Second Team All-American after averaging 14.8 points and 4.9 assists per game. His college jersey number was retired by the University of Arizona in 2005. Gardner was not drafted by the NBA, but found success overseas. He played in Slovenia, Belgium, and Israel, and with EWE Baskets Oldenburg in Germany. Broad Ripple High School
Broad Ripple Magnet High School for the Arts & Humanities, established in 1886, was a magnet school of the Indianapolis Public Schools. It was closed in 2018. History Originally built in 1886 in the town of Broad Ripple, the school started with seven students. The campus was destroyed by fire near the start of the 20th century but was rebuilt. In 1923, the school joined the Indianapolis Public Schools when the town of Broad Ripple was annexed into Indianapolis. Through the 1930s and 1940s, the school continued to grow. Knott County Central High School is a high school located in Hindman, Kentucky. It is home to the Knott County Central Patriots, who have claimed several regional titles in basketball, baseball, track, and other sports. History The school was founded in 1974 by a consolidation of three smaller county schools: Hindman High School, Carr Creek High School (both state basketball champions), and Knott County High School. This made the first graduating class, the class of 1975. At this time the school was not equipped with the space for a baseball team nor a football team. Tates Creek High School (TCHS) is a public school in Lexington, Kentucky. The school is one of six high schools in the Fayette County Public Schools district. History Tates Creek High School was built, and founded in 1965 as the last of three schools on the Tates Creek Campus. North Park University is a private Christian university in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1891 by the Evangelical Covenant Church. It is located on Chicago's north side and enrolls more than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
