2015–16 Frosinone Calcio Season
The 2015–16 season was Frosinone Calcio's first-ever season in Serie A. The team was promoted to the first division after finishing second in the 2014–15 Serie B, and competed in Serie A and the Coppa Italia. They were relegated back down to Serie B after just one season in the top flight. Frosinone Calcio
Frosinone Calcio () is an Italian football club based in Frosinone, Lazio. The club was founded on 5 March 1906 under the name Unione Sportiva Frusinate, but conventionally the year 1928 is indicated as the beginning of competitive activities of significant importance. Following cancellation by the Italian Football Federation, it was refounded in 1959 and in 1990. In the 2014–15 season the club played in Serie B for the sixth time in its history. The club earned its first promotion to the top flight Serie A in the 2015–16 season, but were relegated back down to Serie B after just one season. Leonardo Blanchard (born 6 May 1988) is an Italian footballer who plays as a centre-back. Club career Born in Grosseto, Tuscany, Blanchard started his career at his hometown club Sauro Rispescia, located in Rispescia '' frazione''. Paolo Sammarco (born 17 March 1983) is an Italian football coach and a former player who played as a midfielder. He is the caretaker head coach of Serie D club Ambrosiana. Daniel Pavlović (; born 22 April 1988) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a left back for Swiss club Basel U21 on loan from Chiasso. Aleksandar Antonov Tonev ( bg, Александър Антонов Тонев); born 3 February 1990 is a retired Bulgarian professional footballer who last played as a winger for Botev Plovdiv.
